Welcome to the Veritas family! This webpage was created to serve as a resource in the weeks leading up to the start of the 2018-2019 school year. There will be helpful information, including school calendar, lunch, uniforms, and other helpful items to assist as your family prepares to begin school in early September.
Upper School acceptance deadline is August 15th. No student will be accepted after this date or after the school year has begun.
Letter of Intent to Homeschool
Notify the superintendent of your local school board in writing within two weeks of the beginning of the school year, the third week of July, of the intent to homeschool each year; the letter must include the name, ages, and residence of each child in attendance of the homeschool.

Mandatory Parent & Students Orientation 2019-2020
All parents & students, JrK-12th grade are required to attend. Important information will be discussed, including drop-off and pick-up of students, Tuesday/Thursday and Wednesday school hours, grades, electronics policy, discipline procedures, volunteer sign-ups for the semester, and other important topics. Date & Time TBD.
Wednesdays at Veritas
Wednesdays at Veritas are from 8:45-3pm. Students will have study hall time with teachers to have any assignment questions answered and time to complete Wednesday home assignments. This day also provides the opportunity for strings and piano, as well as other classes. Piano lessons are approximately $20 for a 30 minute session. Strings class is $50/semester with students providing own instrument. Strings may be rented through local companies like Old Town Violins and Hurst Music. Students may choose between cello, violin, or viola. Information about lessons are sent to families in August during orientation. For high school students that attend all day Tuesday and Thursday, ACT Prep, writing, and logic workshops may also be available.

Spirit Wear Days
Students may wear appropriate jeans and school purchased spirit wear. Spirit Wear Days are usually the last Tuesday or Thursday of each month and are found on the school calendar.
